Serena Williams Logs Easy Win on Maria Sharapova to Book a Berth in Wimbledon Finals

serenaNew Delhi, Friday, July 10 – Serena Williams defeated Maria Sharapova by 6 – 2 and 6 – 4 to book a berth in Wimbledon Finals, which is slated to take place on Saturday, July 11. Audiences did not expect that the face-off is going to be one-sided when the two ace tennis players faced each other in the semis held a day ago.

Contribution of Maria Sharapova losing the match on her own was more than Serena’s efforts. Double faults and incomplete efforts to let the ball cross the net made the 28-year-old Russian tennis player to feel the pressure.
