Yellow Metal Sheen Fades Slightly Away Prior to Festive Season

gold1New Delhi, Tuesday, March 3 – Festival month has already arrived. With Holi and 9-day long Navratri slated to fall in March 2015, traders anticipated prices of gold to go up. But the metal lost its sheen today, logging a slight plunge.

In view of the fact that members trimmed down their stances chiefly, its rates skidded by INR 38 to INR 26,472 per ten grams in futures trade today. Several analysts, on the other hand, expected situation to improve in the bullion market soon, keeping in mind the peak wedding season which is just a week ahead.

“None can predict about the purchasing capability of buyers belonging to different classes. Since marriages are to take place in the coming weeks, sellers may predict buyers thronging their shops to place orders”, they stated further.
