England Pulverise Pakistan by 141 Runs in Birmingham to Lead Series 2-1

engNew Delhi, Monday, August 8 – England side having captain Alastair Cook, Joe Root, Alex Hales, James Vince, Gary Ballance, Jonny Bairstow, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad, Steven Finn, James Anderson and Moeen Ali beat Pakistan in the third Test by 141 runs.

Misbah-ul-Haq – led Pakistan included Asad Shafiq, Sarfraz Ahmed, Yasir Shah, Mohammad Amir, Sohail Khan, Rahat Ali, Younis Khan, Mohammad Hafeez, Sami Aslam and Azhar Ali. Pakistan decided to bowl first after winning the toss. England scored 297 in first innings, while the visitors finished at 400.

England rose stronger in second innings and got 445 runs for the loss of six wickets. The travellers’ batting was a complete disaster in their 2nd innings as the entire team was all out at 201 runs. They now have only one chance left to level series by winning in 4th Test at Kennington Oval in London.
