Indian Idol Season 2 Winner Sandeep Acharya Breathes His Last in Gurgaon; Music Industry in Deep Shock

sandeepGurgaon, Monday, December 16 – A lot of people woke up today with a shocking news of Sandeep Acharya’s sudden demise. The enthusiastic youngster won Indian Idol title in 2006 and came into limelight soon after that.

Sandeep basically hailed from Bikaner, Rajasthan and made his birth place and parents proud by winning the second season of the popular reality television show Indian Idol seven years ago.
The singer breathed his last at a young age of 29 in Medanta Hospital of Gurgaon yesterday post suffering from jaundice.

He was earlier admitted to a hospital in Bikaner and was later brought to the Capital to cure the disease as soon as possible. But things did not turn up in his way. Versatile singer Sonu Nigam expressed his sadness on Twitter mentioning. “Jaundice? Gosh…very sad. The boy was just 29…This year, oh god, is only about deaths I feel. God give his parents some strength.”

Mini Mathur, the anchor of the show Indian Idol 2, was in absolute surprise and shock with the news. “What a sad, premature goodbye to a talented, ambitious, happy boy. RIP Sandeep Acharya.” , she tweeted. Director, film producer, actress and choreographer Farah Khan and singer Shreya Ghoshal expressed of being shocked with Sandeep Acharya’s death at a young age. They both expressed their sadness via tweeting. Sony Entertainment Television also conveyed their grief over Sandeep’s sudden demise. The singer is survived by his better half and one-month-old baby girl.
