india vs saSouth Africa, Wednesday, December 18- After a humiliating lost against South Africa in the three-match One Day International series, Indians were expecting to see a close contest between India and SA. However, it seems the guest team hasn’t overcome the trouble of playing on overseas pitches as it lost two wickets early today in the form of Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan.

Virat Kohli, S Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Wriddhiman Saha, R Ashwin, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Murali Vijay, Rohit Sharma, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Cheteshwar Pujara altogether make India an unbeatable team and they have done the same in the recent past. Young and inexperienced team India took on experienced South Africans, who have decimated them in lately played ODI matched on their soil, in the Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, on Wednesday.

The South African squad, which includes skipper Graeme Smith, Hashim Amla, all-rounder AB de Villiers , JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis, D Elgar, I Tahir, J Kallis, R Kleinveldt, M Morkel, A Petersen, R Peterson, T Tsolekile, V Philander and Dale Steyn, is certain to register victory this time too.

Both Morkel and Steyn took a wicket apiece during the early hours of the game, creating big trouble for India.  Pujara (25) and Kohli spellbound audience by hitting some good shots, but the former had to go back to the pavilion after an unfortunate run out by Amla.

After the end of 50 overs, India scored 143 runs for the loss of three wickets. Kohli is battling on 78 runs and accompanied by Rohit, who is not out at 11. Virat seemed confident to take on the fast bowlers, who played crucial role in collapsing Indian battling order in the lately played ODI matches. He appeared of getting his confidence back and hitting a ton on the ground.

India would have to win both 2-Test matches in Johannesburg and Kingsmead, if they want to return home with their head high. So far this year, they have performed brilliantly well and the victory in current series would surely boost their confidence for further proceedings in the coming year.
